METALGUARD FS is a specialized fuel additive designed to improve fuel lubrication and minimize metal-to-metal wear in fuel systems. By correcting fuel instability and reducing wear on fuel system pumps and equipment, it helps extend the life of critical components, ensuring reliable, efficient operation.
Instructions for use
Add METALGUARD FS directly to fuel storage tanks through the vents before bunkering for optimum mixing.
Dosage :
- For distillate fuels (MGO and MDO): Add 1 liter per 5 tonnes of low-sodium fuel.
- For heavy fuel oils (HFO): Add 1 liter per 3 tonnes of low-sodium fuel.
