AquaScale Acid

AquaScale Acid rapidly removes limescale, rust and mineral deposits while protecting marine materials. It ensures effective cleaning and extends the life of essential equipment such as boilers, heat exchangers and condensers.

Instructions for use

1. Dilute to 5-10% depending on scaling.
2. Apply at room temperature and allow to take effect. Use a circulation system if possible. Do not exceed 50°C to preserve effectiveness.
3. Circulate the descaler for 20 minutes, then switch off the circulation pump and leave the descaler to act for about 20 minutes. After the first 20 minutes of circulation, check the pH of the solution using a pH meter or pH strips. The initial solution has a pH between 0 and 1.2. If the pH rises to around 3 or 3.5, add descaler to bring it back to around 1. Once the pH is stable, the circuit should be clean and free of scale.
4. Pump or empty remaining descaler into another container. If the pH of the descaler is acceptable, dispose of it in accordance with local regulations.
5. Rinse the circuit thoroughly with water to remove all debris and remaining descaler.
