RustConverter Marine

RustConverter Marine is an advanced solution for neutralizing rust and preparing metal surfaces for painting. It reacts quickly to stabilize rust and create a water-resistant film that ensures strong adhesion of paints and varnishes. Non-hazardous and flame-retardant when dry, it is ideal for use in highly corrosive environments.

Instructions for use

Surface preparation :

1. Remove grease, oil, rust scales and other contaminants with a wire brush or sandpaper.
2. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water to remove salts and chemicals.

Application:

1. Apply RustConverter Marine directly to the surface with a roller or spray gun. A single coat is sufficient.
2. Wait 3 hours for the product to react. For hard-to-reach areas, reaction time may be longer.
3. Recoat the treated surface with paint or lacquer within 48 hours of application to ensure long-lasting protection.

Consumption: 1 liter treats approx. 20 m².
Note: Avoid applying to surfaces where temperatures exceed 40°C. Apply after cooling, e.g. in the evening, to leave on overnight.
